What we respond to
- Calculator feedback: Spotted an error? Have an idea for a new tool? Tell us — we improve based on user input.
- Data corrections: Tax rates, mortgage rates, and benchmark data update weekly. If something looks wrong, let us know and we'll verify against source.
- Partnerships: Financial publications, advisors, and educators interested in licensing calculators or content collaborations.
- Press inquiries: Journalists and researchers covering personal finance, retirement planning, or fintech.
- Affiliate & advertising: Vetted financial products only. We do not accept paid placements that compromise editorial independence.
What we don't do
- Personal financial advice. FinCalcs provides tools and information, not licensed advisory services. For personalized planning, consult a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or registered investment advisor.
- Account-specific tax help. Our tax calculators show estimates based on published IRS and state tables. For your specific filing situation, work with a CPA or tax professional.
- Bulk data scraping. Our calculations and data are intended for personal use. Contact us if you need an API or licensed access.
Editorial & methodology questions
For questions about how a specific calculator works, our data sources, or our editorial process, see the Editorial Policy and About FinCalcs. If your question isn't answered there, email us.
