Why contribute to FinCalcs
Your author bio includes a link to your website — a real, permanent dofollow backlink from a finance-focused domain.
Every post includes your name, headshot, bio, and links to your website and social profiles.
Your post can link to any of our interactive calculators — giving your content an interactive element readers love.
FinCalcs serves users across mortgage, retirement, debt, investing, tax, and healthcare topics.
Topics we cover
We accept posts across all personal finance categories:
Editorial guidelines
- Length: Minimum 1,500 words. Data-driven, actionable content performs best.
- Original content only. No republished, spun, or AI-generated content without substantial human editing and fact-checking.
- Cite your sources. Government data (IRS, Fed, BLS, Census), peer-reviewed research, and established industry reports. No unsourced claims.
- No promotional content. Posts cannot be thinly disguised advertisements. You may mention your product or service once in your author bio — not in the body of the article.
- Formatting: Use clear H2/H3 headings, short paragraphs, and include a "Key Takeaways" section. Reference a relevant FinCalcs calculator where appropriate.
- Expertise: We strongly prefer contributions from CFPs, CPAs, financial advisors, or writers with published work on established finance platforms.
- Editing: All submissions are edited for accuracy, clarity, and style consistency. We may request revisions before publishing.
What we don't accept
- Gambling, cryptocurrency trading signals, or get-rich-quick content
- Posts that exist solely to promote a product, service, or affiliate link
- Content that contradicts established financial principles without strong evidence
- Duplicate content published elsewhere
- Posts under 1,500 words

For companies and brands
Interested in reaching an audience of financially engaged Americans? We offer sponsored educational content opportunities that align with our editorial standards. Sponsored posts are clearly labeled and must provide genuine value to readers — not just promote a product.
We work with financial services companies, fintech startups, insurance providers, and educational platforms. If your product genuinely helps people make better financial decisions, we'd like to hear from you.
